Mario Larrinagga (1895-1979) Three paintings from his #hawaii series #Larrinagga began his artistic career as an art director and set designer for #Universal Studios where he worked on the original #KingKong (1933) film. In 1951 he moved to #Taos to continue his art career where he became co-founder of Gallery A (Allied Artists of New Mexico, Inc.). Of the many Taos artists grouped into the term ‘Modernists’, Larrinagga was the epitome of Mid-Century Modernism. If you receive your order and it has been damaged or broken, you may return online orders within 10 days of receiving for a refund on your credit card if there is shipping damage or breakage. We may ask you to provide evidence of the damage. Returns must be postmarked within this 10 day period, the customer is responsible for return postage. We do not refund shipping and handling charges. Most of our inventory are one of a kind items, but exchanges can be made for another item(s) of the same value, depending on availability within the 10 day period.
