The Fiesta Ware Oval Serving Platter, (actual measurement 12 ¾ x 1 ½ inches) will look great used as a serving platter for everything from stir-fry to steaks to piles of cookies. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing; there are some firing imperfections that do not affect function or design.
Fiesta Ware, a line of glazed white pottery made by the venerated Homer Laughlin Company (Newell, Ohio), was in production from 1936 - 1969, and then revived in 1986 and continues to this day. The original design was beloved for its bright and modern colors, its sturdy utility, and Art-Deco styling. Washing by hand is recommended.
