Exquisite Tiffany & Co. sterling silver frame engraved with a classical motif of leaves and wild roses and daisies, and an ornate scrolled monogram (“MTF”?) at the center of the top edge of the frame. The original mat board is inscribed “Pach Bros NY”, which was a distinguished photography studio specializing in portrait photography from 1866 onward. The Tiffany makers mark stamped on the bottom edge of the rear is from the period around 1900. 9 ¾ x 12 ½ inches, inside window 8 ½ x 11 inches. inside window of mat is 7 ¼ x 9 ⅜ inches.
