One of the earliest examples of a Kachina “action figure”, the eagle doll with outstretched arms was meant to depict the gracefulness of the eagles flying overhead. Deaccessioned from a museum collection (note the inventory number on the bottom of the right foot.), made of cottonwood, natural pigment, duck feathers and string, circa 1940s - 50s, 10 ½ inches tall
