The Mocking Kachina or Striped Nose Kachina (Kwikwilyakea), provides both humor and social commentary during the dances as he mocks and mirrors everone, getting into personal space— the other dancers do everything they can to get away from him.

Attributed to renowned Hopi carver Wilson Tawaquaptewa (1871 - 1960), this Mocking Kachina has a classic Hopi Kachina dance uniform of red and yellow shirt and white kilt, his headpiece has 3 long black and white tubes for eyes and nose, and no mouth, or other common facial features, giving him a very appealing and clown-like appearance. Circa 1930s, made from cottonwood, paint, string and feathers, 5 ¾ inches tall
