Hopi Kachina Swaying Man or Peeping Out Kachina can see many things that may go unobserved by others. In my own observation the figure first appears timidly at the top of the kiva ladder, slowly looks around, then goes back into the kiva. This may happen several times before Peeping Out Man completely emerges to begin the plaza ceremony. Circa 1960s, made of cottonwood, paint string and feathers, 7 inches tall
