Barbara Latham, (b. 1896, Walpole, MA - d. 1989, Santa Fe, NM). On her first visit to Taos, she met Howard Cook, also a painter and printmaker, and they married in 1928. Their primary residence was in Ranchos De Taos near the village of Talpa. Latham is beloved for her prints and landscape paintings of Taos and surroundings.
